Scything In The Barn
Dr Richard Dutton, DDS, inside the barn on his Elkhart, Texas ranch. He is holding an antique scythe, or sickle, used for harvesting grain. He liked the antique lantern, so he threw that in there as well. The setup was pretty easy, except, for the back barn doors – they kept opening and closing as the wind blew. I used a Saberstrip light modifier with a SB600, camera left.

Love the lighting!! That is a great location. I have been wanting to try a saberstrip. I’ll have to find someone in my area with one so I can try it out. I enjoy your posts. Looking forward to more of them.
